ICP4Life proposes an integrated, collaborative platform comprising of three main components. The platform is able to address the need of providing a neutral, easy to interface system, featuring a more efficient collaboration strategy and an effective knowledge sharing environment. The components are separately dedicated to the following:
- The creation and management of product and service data by engineers and designers of multiple disciplines, through the use of a common semantic model;
- The easy and intuitive configuration of Products and Services by customers of different profiles for different types of products;
- The semi-automatic design and reconfiguration of lines and energy supply grids through simulation services on the cloud, connected to a common model for the whole supply chain.
